

THE BRIEF
Develop a point-of-sale system for retailers using the provided data, ensuring
compatibility with Pipo and standard tablets. This software will be used by a wide variety of
people in fast paced and stressful environments and needs to intuitive and simple.
THE DESIGN
This was a comprehensive and multi-stage project focused on enhancing the user experience for retailers and streamlining their processes
for greater efficiency. This portfolio presents a snapshot of the larger project, highlighting key features and design elements. While it showcases
the core functionality, the full product includes additional features, integrations, and complexities not displayed here.

The final prototype was the result of extensive qualitative research, including competitor analysis, retailer feedback,
and rigorous internal user testing, ensuring a user-centered and effective solution.

Homescreen
The restaurant POS homepage features quick links all categories of the POS to support, feedback, and a user guide. It displays the time, opening hours, local weather, active customers, and recent order history for efficient management.

Customer Lookup
Quickly access customer information, such as
contact details, order history, preferences, and more.
This helps personalise service, streamline repeat orders,
and improve overall customer experience.
Product Selection
There are a few different versions of the product
selection pop-up model. This one is for Deals/Specials.


Product Ordering
The product ordering page in a POS system lets
staff browse the menu, select items, customise orders, and adjust quantities. It shows prices, an order summary,
and allows easy edits before sending the order to
the kitchen or bar.

Workflow Management
Streamlines tasks like order processing, payment handling, and staff coordination. It ensures smooth communication between the front of house and kitchen, tracks order status, manages table assignments,
and helps staff work efficiently to improve service
and reduce errors.

End Of Day Reporting
Summarise sales, payments, refunds, and staff performance, helping with cash reconciliation,
inventory tracking, and informed decision-making.

Settings
The settings page, while not exciting, is essential
for customising the system to fit the business's needs.
It ensures smooth operations, compliance, and a
tailored user experience.


Table Ordering
A versatile table ordering system within
the POS that allows staff to merge tables, transfer
orders, and modify table seating arrangements in real-time. This flexibility optimizes floor management, accommodates larger groups, and ensures smooth
order handling and billing, enhancing overall
dining operations and customer experience.

Online Booking System
An integrated online POS booking system featuring a calendar view for easy scheduling, customer lookup for quick access to client details, and options to create new bookings or cancel existing ones. This system streamlines reservation management, improves customer service, and enhances operational efficiency for businesses handling appointments or table bookings.
